Submissions
We read year-round and publish quarterly. Send us your best single piece or a small grouping; simultaneous submissions are fine if you tell us and withdraw promptly on acceptance.
The six things we publish
- Poetry — up to five poems, pasted as text.
- Fiction — one story, as text. Flash to ~6,000 words.
- Essays / articles — one piece, as text.
- Photography — send an external link to the image(s). We don't host files.
- Art — send an external link to the work.
- Music — send an external link (Bandcamp, SoundCloud, YouTube, Vimeo, Spotify). Tell us about the piece; we listen ourselves.
The external-link requirement
For photography, art, and music, we take links in and embed them out — we do not accept uploaded files, and we do not rehost your work. Send a public URL that doesn't require a login. If we can't open your link, we'll write to ask for a working one; that's never a decision about the work.
Rights and provenance
Submit only work you hold the rights to. For images, tell us if any part is AI-generated or AI-assisted — we don't have a blanket rule, but we ask for candor and we assess provenance case by case. We can't verify provenance from a file alone, so your word matters.
Cadence
We publish four issues a year. Replies can take a little while; thank you for your patience.
